The Tao Of Tea Scented Green Tea Lotus 3 5 Oz 100 G

Product Information: Vietnamese Che Sen Pure Leaf Tea (50 Cups) Origin: Northern Vietnam Grown in Thai Nguyen Province (60 miles from Hanoi) in northern Vietnam, this is a premium green tea with a lotus fragrance. Thai Nguyen is one of Vietnam's major tea-growing regions and is known for producing teas with a unique taste. Other well-known tea provinces include Tuyen Khub, Ha Giang, Yen Bai, Lao Cai, and Bao Loc. History of Lotus Tea King Tu Duc of the Nguyen Dynasty was famous for drinking lotus-scented tea. In the afternoons, he had his colleagues row to the lotus pond in the royal garden and brew a small amount of tea for each lotus flower. He placed the tea leaves in the center of the flower and wrapped them around the petals. As the tea dried overnight, it absorbed the fragrance of the petals. The next morning, the lotus harvested the tea leaves from the pond and presented them to the king to be used as a morning tea. Now that the traditional method of using aroma is becoming rare, lotus is generally brewed with heat. The aroma profile features a refreshing taste similar to anise; it is slightly sharp but has a pleasant aftertaste. There is a universal technique for enjoying tea. We began serving as a bridge connecting tea cultures in 1997. At our tea house in Portland, Oregon, tea enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds and cultures gathered daily to practice this technique. We strive to travel, learn, and add to the joy, providing pure loose-leaf tea filled with excellent taste, artistry, and soul.
