Tamron 18-300mm F/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD Canon RF Mount [B061R] Black

The most notable feature of this lens is its world-first 16.6x zoom ratio for an APS-C size mirrorless interchangeable lens. It covers a focal length of 18-300mm (equivalent to 27-450mm on a 35mm format). From super-telephoto shooting that utilizes the magnifying effect to wide-angle shooting that captures expansive landscapes, you can enjoy a diverse range of photographic expression with this single lens. It also features a very compact design, weighing approximately 620g, and adopts a φ67mm filter diameter, common to many [Tamron] mirrorless lenses. This allows for easy handling in any situation.

・【Class-leading high-speed and high-precision AF to never miss the decisive moment】 This lens employs [Tamron]'s unique linear motor focus mechanism VXD for AF drive. It combines top-level speed, accuracy, and responsiveness for a high-magnification zoom lens, allowing comfortable focusing from the shortest shooting distance to infinity, even at the super-telephoto 300mm (equivalent to 450mm on a 35mm format). It also boasts excellent focus tracking, ensuring you never miss the decisive moment when photographing insects, animals, or vehicles. Regarding quietness, the direct drive of the focus lens group without gears minimizes motor noise, making it ideal for still photography and video recording in quiet environments. ・【An astonishing maximum magnification of 1:2 for a high-magnification zoom lens】 Model B061 boasts exceptional close-up shooting capabilities that defy the conventions of high-magnification zoom lenses. It achieves a shortest shooting distance of 0.15m and a maximum magnification of 1:2 at the wide-angle end of 18mm. Furthermore, the working distance is an astonishing 5mm※, allowing you to get close to the subject while simultaneously capturing the background in the unique style of wide-macro photography. ※ When shooting at a shortest shooting distance of 0.15m (wide-angle end), the distance between the subject and the front of the lens is approximately 5mm. Please enjoy shooting while ensuring the subject does not touch the front element of the lens. ・【Uncompromising optical performance throughout the zoom range】 This lens is a high-resolution lens that prioritizes rendering performance despite being a high-magnification zoom lens. It generously utilizes special glass materials such as four LD (Low Dispersion: abnormal low dispersion) lenses and three composite aspherical lenses to achieve beautiful rendering from the center to the periphery of the screen. This significantly reduces various aberrations, including chromatic aberration. Furthermore, the application of BBAR-G2 (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection Generation 2) coating thoroughly suppresses ghosting and flare, which are prone to occur during shooting in backlit conditions. This achieves high image quality and soft bokeh throughout the zoom range. ・【Equipped with [Tamron]'s unique Vibration Compensation (VC) mechanism】 This lens is equipped with [Tamron]'s unique VC mechanism to suppress camera shake, which is prone to occur in the telephoto range. It demonstrates its power even in handheld shooting in low-illumination environments such as dimly lit rooms or night scenes, effectively reducing image degradation. Additionally, by utilizing AI (artificial intelligence) technology, it is possible to obtain correction effects tailored for video recording at focal lengths of 70mm or less. ・Focal Length: 18-300mm (equivalent to 28.8-480mm on a 35mm format) / Angle of View (diagonal): 73°49'- 5°10' (when used with an APS-C size mirrorless interchangeable camera) / Lens Construction: 15 groups, 19 elements / Minimum Shooting Distance: 0.15m (WIDE) / 0.99m (TELE) / Maximum Magnification: 1:2 (WIDE) / 1:4 (TELE) / Vibration Compensation: Yes / Filter Diameter: φ67mm / Maximum Diameter: φ75.5mm / Length: 123.6mm / Weight: 625g / Diaphragm Blades: 7 (rounded) / Minimum Aperture: F22-40 / Standard Accessories: Flower-shaped hood, lens cap / Compatible Mount: Canon RF mount
